Sinopsis “Into the Storm” ini menceritakan tentang sebuah kota yang bernama Silvertron dirusak parah oleh serangan tornado yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Seluruh isi kota dari Silvertron merupakan sebuah siklon yang mematikan. Dalam sebuah pelacak badai, diprediksikan bahwa badai tornado yang terburuk masih belum datang.
Dari bencana yang terjadi, banyak orang yang mencari perlindungan dan juga ada yang berlari menuju pusaran tornado untuk menguji jauh chaser badai. Film diceritakan dari mata dan lensa pemburu badai professional serta para warga kota yang berani.
