Sinopsis The Turning – mengisahkan kisah horor klasik. Selama lebih dari 100 tahun, diceritakan kisah mencekam hingga turun temurun. Sebuah perkebunan misterius di pedesaan Maine, Kate (Mackenzie Davis) bekerja sebagai pengasuh dua anak yatim piatu bernama Flora (Brooklynn Prince) dan Miles (Finn Wolfhard). Kate Mandell, pengasuh muda era 1990 yang disewa untuk menjaga dua anak, Miles dan Flora, setelah kematian orang tua mereka.

A young woman quits her teaching job to be a private tutor (governess) for a wealthy young heiress who witnessed her parent’s tragic death. Shortly after arriving, the girl’s degenerate brother is sent home from his boarding school.
